This hands-on science course covers basic principles, theories, and laws in physics, chemistry, biology, environmental science, and earth and space science. Students use the scientific method and practice problem solving during directed and open-ended lab exercises and activities in each branch of science providing them with diverse approaches and experiences to studying science. Students write claim-evidence-reasoning papers and keep a lab notebook to demonstrate their ability to use, analyze, and communicate data effectively??.
