Special Topics courses are designed to take advantage of visiting professors or special cultural events, as well as permitting faculty latitude to experiment with a new course. Special Topics course designation indicates a course that is only offered once, a reoccurring course where the topic changes each time, or the Special Topics designation may indicate new courses being offered before placement in the catalog.
