Minor

Organizational Leadership Studies Minor

The Organizational Leadership Studies (OLS) minor invites students to explore leadership as a dynamic process rather than a position of authority. Rooted in feminist and interdisciplinary approaches, the program emphasizes inclusive collaboration, ethical decision-making, and the confidence to lead with authenticity. Students study leadership theory, examine the role of followership and group dynamics, and practice coaching strategies that build trust and accountability. By blending knowledge with real-world application, the minor equips students from any major to strengthen their professional skills, expand their influence, and contribute meaningfully to organizations and communities.
