Under the auspices of a faculty member, a second-year (or higher) student with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher may receive academic credit for pursuing on an individual basis, a topic or project related to, but beyond the scope of, regular course offerings. No more than three four hours of Independent Study counts toward graduation, nor may more than one such course be taken in the same semester.
